Eyelash extensions are made of artificial fibers in different lengths, curls and thicknesses to enhance your natural lashes and overall appearance. They are applied to a single natural lash one extension at a time. In Arizona, a licensed Aesthetician / Cosmetologist certified in classic, volume, or mega volume lash techniques is legally qualified to use professional eyelash extension products to perform these services. Extensions shed with our natural lashes (yes our natural lashes alone shed daily!) therefore needing “fills” every 2/3 weeks (depending on set and lifestyle) is maintenance.

Most of us want lush, darker, and fuller lashes that make us look effortlessly gorgeous. Or we can keep it naturally beautiful and give you lighter coverage for a subtle, softer look. There are different customizable outcomes with consideration of your natural lashes. Be prepared to fall in love and become addicted as you take your next step by booking your service today. 

If you do not currently have eyelash extensions, or only have a few (less than 40%) eyelash extensions remaining you will be scheduled as a FULL SET (the first initial set) 

If it's your first time or not with lash extensions, don't worry! We will have a thorough discussion at your first appointment. I will ask you about style preferences, scheduling, previous experiences and lifestyle habits. • A Natural Full Set is best for those with fuller, longer, thicker lashes as it only adds length or curl to your natural lashes. They may also not be in your best interest if you are an avid gym goer or glam makeup wearer! 

• Volume Full Set, you can create a look thats soft and natural if you're just wanting coverage, or a more dark, fuller and dramatic look as it is customizable and the most versatile style of lashes!
  
• A Mega Volume Full Set is the DARKEST, FULLEST set you can ask for. Do you love that extra every day glam look, perfect, this look is all the drama you're needing! We can also keep it short, dark and elegant. If you prefer longer lengths and bold lashes, we will discuss the appropriate length that will not overpower your eyes and that your natural lashes can support.

Please no caffeine prior to your appointment as that may cause your eyes to be jittery. Arrive with clean, makeup free lashes. It is crucial that there is no residue left on your lashes as this will affect the retention of your extensions causing them to prematurely fall out. If you have oil-free makeup remover and lash wash formulated for extensions, feel free to arrive 5 minutes early to use the "powder room" and wash your lashes. It's advised that you do not wear mascara, heavy eye makeup, falsies a day prior to your Full Set appointment and never in between your fills. Makeup residue is extremely difficult to remove from the lash line carefully and can definitely cause issues with your extensions adhering to your natural lashes, resulting in poor retention. Time spent washing your lashes during your appointment will interfere with your service time, and of course we want more time to lash!  Wearing your contacts during your service may cause irritation once we are done, you can remove them before.  A Full Set can take any where from 2.5 - 3 .5 hours to complete, so please come ready to lay still and relax! Depending what you booked for, Fills can take 1-2 hours.

Quality Eyelash Extensions take time, precision, and detail.

My mission is to lash EVERY lash for full coverage, and long-lasting eyelash extensions. This process normally takes about 2.5 - 3.5 hours for a Full Set depending on the amount of natural lashes you have and style preference. 

You will lay comfortably on a padded massage table with your eyes closed until told to open (fumes from the adhesive are strong so eyes must remain shut until the service is finished) so please silence your phones. No texting or taking phone calls during this time as it causes a lot of movement and  there's other relaxing services taking place in the studio. Soft music is played in the background, but you are welcome to bring in headphones to listen to your music, podcasts, audiobooks (headphones also allow you to hear Siri read you your incoming text messages without opening your phone). During application, your lower lashes will be taped down, a gel pad will protect your lower eye area, and the extensions will be applied only to your upper lashes, one lash at a time.  
 

Fills are offered as 60-120 minute services and are based on how often you are coming for maintenance.

 Ex. if you’re going 3+ weeks in between fills you will be booked for a 90/120 minute fill, 60/75 minute fill for 2 weeks.

Once the service is complete, we will go over pre-booking your next appointment, and of course the importance of aftercare and regular maintenance. I will then contact via phone call/text 48 hours after your visit as a courtesy call to check on how your eyelash extensions are working for you and if you had any questions or comments that we could discuss during that time. Customer experience is my number one priority at Beauty FX & Lash.

If there is any concerns of poor retention, it must be addressed within 48 of your last visit. A free 30 minute touch-up is given if able to come in within 2 days of reporting the issue. Anything past 48 hours will not be the artist's responsibility as all the lashes will mostly shed during that time frame. Occasionally shedding (3-5 lashes per day) is what is expected to happen.

In the unfortunate event you experience an allergic reaction, swelling, discharge and pain (typically 24 hours after application) there are no refunds, but a free removal once swelling subsides will be offered. These occurrences rarely happen, but it is important to know what can and will be done if so. 

Proper after care and maintenance is a MUST for optimal results. We will definitely go over lash cleansers and makeup removers, how often to wash, and what to avoid after your service is complete. I provide all Borboleta Lash Care Products in studio for purchasing.

 It's advised that you pre-book your following appointments as availability becomes limited. It's important to stay on top of your lash fills regularly and make it part of a routine to avoid needing a Full Set.

Once your purchase your FULL SET (the first initial set) you will now need to come back every 2-3 weeks for FILLS as maintenance. Depending on your lifestyle (gym babe, makeup wearer, etc.) how fast your natural lashes grow and shed, and how long you would like to go

in between fills will determine what FILL to book for.

• 60 minute Fills are for those needing a "lash boost" right before a special event if wanted, or if you are returning within every 1.5-2 weeks for maintenance 

• 75 minute Fills are for clients returning every 2 -3 weeks, those doing 3 will most likely need a little more time as more lashes will grow out by week 3 and need to be replaced with new ones

• 90 minute Fills are for returning clients going 2-3 weeks in between visits. Also an option for more fullness and coverage to your lashes if you choose to come bi-weekly

• Mega Volume 2 Hour Fill will allow you to go 3 weeks in between fills since you are receiving MAX coverage and fullness as every lash will be LASHED!

Please consider that you must have atleast 40% of your eyelash extensions remaining after removing the outgrown extensions to be considered a fill.
